Zhum has over 15 years of accounting experience covering all areas of external audit, taxation and business services & advisory with a Big 4, KPMG Sydney, and second tier, BDO Sydney. He works with a broad spectrum of clients ranging from large private busines s, subsidiaries of multinationals, small to medium sized enterprises and individuals.
Zhum specialized in advising foreign companies with their move to Australia, providing structuring and initial set up advice as well as ongoing accounting, audit support and tax compliance. In addition, he has extensive external audit experience involving financial reporting preparation, accounting standards interpretation and advice, taxation, due diligence and acquisition assignments.
A s a Partner of Smart Wealth Advisors, Zhum has extensive experience managing the affairs of numerous foreign property funds (Managed Invest Trust) with direct investments in Australia from a second tier accounting firm, BDO . He works closely with stakeholders in Australia and overseas to ensure the Australian and foreign reporting and statutory compliance requirements are managed reliably and efficiently.
Zhum’s experience includes; currently managing the Australian interests of several large and public
corporations, through outsourced acco unting and finance services, with head offices in Germany, Austria,
Singapore, the United Kingdom, the USA and Japan.
